So I've been more purposeful about pressing-in and finding out more. I'm learning a little bit more about Sonic's universe and the characters that are so important to Dan.
Just yesterday, Daniel said he wanted to make something. MAKE something!? This is really EXCITING!
He wants to make his own Sonic chessboard. We've had a good time searching for supplies and found a few things that will arrive next week. I can't wait to continue to help him and soon post some photos of his project!
Thanks for sharing that! I have had a similar experience with Lego Ninjago with my Daniel. So far he has created two games, one last summer out of Lego pieces and one this week with cardboard, construction paper, and paper clips. He usually follows his sisters in doing productive activities, it's fun to see him get inspired from time to time to busily work on ideas that are forming inside him.
