Super Sarah

Sarah has been ELECTRIC in a whole new way since we moved. She has been SO productive, it has actually been difficult to keep up with it all! She made me wonderful birthday presents, made C a birthday envelope for his birthday seeds, made Nana a personalized crossword puzzle, has helped with all the family projects, she can't stop playing with the kitties (!), she's been practicing with the inline skates our friend Christi let her borrow, is preparing her lemonade stand for the summer, she loves the new jungle gym and wading pool, loves the mud, dust, and hose! She whipped up a Sonic chessboard, but I don't think I took photos. She's having a BALL!

She is my sweet sunshine girl and I love her sooooo much! She is doing really well with her education and I look forward to the next few months to see how she will grow in everyway!

Five Days in Seattle Game

We've been enjoying our new game, 10 Days in Europe. My husband was commenting to Sarah, that it might be fun to make a game, 10 Days in Seattle and instead of boats and planes for the transportation cards, there could be "biking" cards since Seattle is a big biking city.

Sarah got inspired!

She decided to make her own 10 Days in Seattle game, yes, out of cardboard! I helped her find a map on Google images which set the whole thing in motion. It totally works!! Her map only has 30 destinations (neighborhoods) so she decided to do 5 Days in Seattle instead. It totally works! She put it in a box and everything!

She cut out cards and she taped the neighborhoods and transportation pieces together. You can bike or walk to adjacent neighborhoods or take a boat on Puget Sound, Elliott Bay and Lake Washington along with driving I-5 to get around. I LOVE IT and I love her creativity!
