Easter Hike
What a spectacular day! We took at hike at a nearby state park and enjoyed seeing The Mountain (Mt. Rainier) so up close. It is almost startling when it peeks from around the trees! My plum tree out front is in full beautiful bloom!

Family Hike-Beaver Lake Trail
What a magnificent trail! Off the Mountain Loop Highway past the Old Sauk Trailhead, this 3.5 mile roundtrip out and back was perfect for today. Cool and FLAT! We went up the forest road about 3 miles and turned back around to find a "lookout ledge" where we saw the rainbox. I'd like to do this one again maybe in the fall for a different look. The river was roaring with spring runoff.

Easter Hike 2012
What a crazy gorgeous day! We hiked a nearby trail and ate lunch on a log. Sweet Sarah toted her picnic backpack complete with plates! A wonderful way to celebrate Resurrection Day together.
